Am i being shallow?
I just had a nice long phone-conversation with Hunny, one of my besties who is always there for her friends ,for ups and downs, for nasty or serious talks, for a night-out or for a cozy night-ins.ok, Chick blanje J-co’s a dh bnyk puji nih.hehe,kidding.i mean it tho, not the treat part, but u being a great friend all this while, thanks babe.i’m honoured.it’s good to have somebody to talk to, someone who is from the same background as us, in this case, we share almost everythg in common. At the point in our lives that letting someone to our hearts is such a big deal nowadays.i mean, when we look back at the times we had teenage love affairs we didn’t care much about the boy’s state of being unemployed chap just yet, without thinking much about what would he become?some would fall for a rock-star wannabe, some for a goody-two-shoes, some for a heinous geek.despite all that, we were having so much fun.
We were chatting for more than half an hour until my handphone ran out of battery.but we managed to catch a few things up about each other, about her fears, about it's so hard to meet up with friends nowadays(sigh),about me no longer being interested in lovey dovey business.yup, u read it right.wearily, half of me has lost the interest.
And the most interesting part is that, we both share the same thought that being married somehow shuts off the chic lives we think we are having now.it's bad, i know.gosh, that is wrong to think like that about something so saint, so legitimate like marriage.this is a sick thought i suppose.but i just can't help it.can somebody tell me i'm just being normal.
Even if i take one fine marriage for example, of a bestie of mine, who is married to a very loving, supporting, fun to be with husband, still, it doesn't convince either of us.to be bounded from doing things we enjoy, and to picture one of us cheating?even that's scary to put myself in it.gosh am i shallow?i guess i have to accept the fact that marriage is about sacrifice.it's one risky thorn-pathed business.we can plan wat's gonna happen in our lives but we can never keep things in our control.the same with fidelity.you can't plan to be faithful to someone.you just have to find yourself suddenly doing it.but that's the last thing one wants to do right?
So as not to spoil what we have now by desiring what we have not, we have to remember what we have now was once among the things we only hoped for.but then again, i think of my hi-heels.oh crap.
It occurred to me,had i been searching for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when everything i needed has always been there?

The Seven Year Itch
She's got everything a woman would kill for.Her career has taken off, even though i know she finds the responsibility and long hours hard. She's got an amazing house, a fancy car to dream for.Her place is spotless, it looks like a hotel. And i seem to admire everything. I know she wants what every girl wants - a husband and kids and a future together, but the more entrenched she becomes in her single life, the further away it seems. Her life is so ordered and comfortable, that any potential Mr Right has to be amazing for her even to consider giving any of it up. And that's the problem. She is convinced that finding love will involve a sacrifice of some sort, and she's not sure if she's willing to trade in her white satin bed-sheet for a white knight.
But she's not coming tonight to meet her internet date.I was supposed to meet her and when this guy from the internet turns up, the plan was me leaving them alone. But now i'm stucked alone in here.
He's good-looking enough to model, but rough enough to satisfy her rugged outdoors-man fantasy. I notice how nice he smells as he leans towards me- kinda musky, but clean. He smells fresh and i can't deny it, sexy as hell.
While i am married with a kid.

This ruined puzzle
This ruined puzzle is beige with the pieces all face down
so the placing goes slowly.
The picture's of anything other than it's meant to be.
But the hours they creep,
the patterns repeat.
Don't be concerned, you know I'll be fine on my own.
I never said "don't go."
But I've hidden a note,
it's pressed between pages that you've marked to find your way back.
It says, "Does he ever get the girl?"
But what if the pages stay pressed,
the chapters unfinished,
the stories too dull to unfold?
Does he ever get the girl?
Well this basement's a coffin.
I'm buried alive.
I'll die in here just to be safe.
I'll die in here just to be safe.
'Cause you're gone.
I get nothing
and you're off with barely a sigh.
I never said, "Goodbye."
but I've hidden a note,
it's pressed between pages that you've marked to find your way back.
It says, "Does he ever get the girl?"
but I've hidden a note,
it's pressed between pages that you'll read if you're so inclined.
It says, "Does he ever get the girl?"
But the hours they creep,
the patterns repeat.
Don't be concerned, you know I'll be fine on my own.
I never said "don't go."
Don't go

sickness
got back frm school at 12.30.decided to take a nap first cause i will have a tuition class at 3.30pm.i needed a break.i thought i was dreaming when suddenly somebody knocked on the front door downstairs with salam."teacher, oo teacher!".i opened my eyes slowly and grabbed my watch, OMG! it was 3.40pm already!
my throat ached so bad,
my head was spinning,
i felt cold ...
i knew by then it was feverish.i got up from my bed, tottered myself to the door,"hey, kids.i'm not feeling well so, just go home, the class is canceled".i thought they were happy.then, i got back to my bed, pulling the comforter,i was feelin warm and cold at the same time,my body was aching too and continued sleeping.i think there's a tonsil killing me down the throat.uughh, not so nice.
i only got up at 5.30pm the next day(can u imagine)feelin a lil better, thanks to panadol.but the tonsil is still there.it's pretty hard to even swallow my own saliva.
friends, don't force urselves too hard working, give urself a break.

SATC

Just watched the movie,and i 'got carried away'.some catchy quotes i got frm the movie.here goes;
Mr. Big: What do you think, kid?
Carrie Bradshaw: Why... do you want to get married?
Mr. Big: I want you. So. Okay
Carrie Bradshaw: Well, I wouldn't mind being married to you. Would you mind being married to me?
Mr. Big: No, if that's what you wnat? Is that what you want?
Carrie Bradshaw: We're getting married.
Mr. Big: Should we get you diamond?
Carrie Bradshaw: No, please, don't get me a diamond... get me a really big closet.
Carrie Bradshaw: Some love stories aren't epic novels, some are short stories
Carrie Bradshaw: But, that doesn't make them any less filled with love.

It's ok to be silly,once a while
Hmm.i have once..ok, lets just be honest..i often am.n this time,i did it again.i just did some silly thing this morning.it was involving some silly guy i've known for quite some time.kudos for that guy for always being capable of making me as silly.but it was worth the act of foolin myself for that matter.i'm so much relieved now.it was like a therapy session.for the heart.therapeutically satisfying.
whatever.
When the going gets tough, the tough goes shopping, haha, considered as a therapy especially for ladies.retail therapy.my retail therapy is for shoes until my housemate once said,"kakbib ni membazir je".huhu.wat to do.i'm just trying to boost my mood.it's not a sin ait?;p.tp xsmpai tahap imelda marcos la.keke.i succumbed for things sleek n feminine.strange that they fall under that category..hmm.another therapeutic activity is cooking.it's amazing how cooking can boost one's self esteem, gosh.i discovered it develops an insight into our own abilities as we accomplished to cook some satisfying mouth-watering meal.ok, i exaggerate. my group will be hosting a potluck at school tomorrow which we have it once a month so,i came up with this...
